Where to Eat and Be Seen During NYFW

New York
Save to Foursquare

It’s that time again. We’re officially one week from the madness that is New York Fashion Week. You may be asking yourself, didn’t NYFW just happen? Well yes, we had the pleasure to attend NYFW back in September, but the often forgotten fall/winter shows are right at our heels this February 8 to 14.

Fashion influencers, editors, buyers, and the aspirational average joe will flock to town for the festivities. The Bitches have curated a list of our favorite places to eat and be seen during New York Fashion Week below. We look forward to running into you other fashionistas around town!

Spring Studios

This is the first season the on-site NYFW runways will be installed at Spring Studios. Feel free to circle the block for plenty of celebrity appearances and street style photo opportunities. You may even get the chance to sneak into the back of a show. Designers showing here include favorites like Jeremy Scott, Ulla Johnson, Leanne Marshall, Alice + Olivia, and Zimmerman. 50 Varick Street

Maman

Pop into Maman’s Tribeca location for a sit-down meal or simply a croissant to go. Either way, be prepared to be dumbfounded by the shabby chic details and fresh florals engulfing the space. Grab one of there très chic cups of coffee on your way out and don’t forget to add it to your Insta Stories. 211 W Broadway

While We Were Young

There’s a reason we named While We Were Young 2017’s Most Instagrammable Brunch. I’m predicting lines down the block of exquisitely dressed fashion bloggers waiting to get into this quaint cafe for lunch and more importantly a picture cause #eatingfortheinsta. 183 W 10th Street

Old Rose

This is an uber-chic space with a chill atmosphere, good service, and solid food. It makes the perfect place for a mid-week brunch, a breakfast meeting, or a work session with incredible lighting. 113 Jane Street

Broken Coconut

When nightlife gurus open a nutritionist-approved fast-casual dining concept, it’s sure to attract the cool kids. (I saw someone from KUWTK when I was there reviewing, FYI.) Hands down, this beach-to-bowl spot in NoHo is going to draw both runway and Instagram models during fashion week because it’s next to SoulCycle and Rumble, and it’s incredibly delicious and healthy. 15 E 4th Street

Hanson Fitness

Speaking of trendy workouts…the fitness trainer favored by celebs like Rihanna, Tyra Banks, and Sandra Bullock has just launched a naked workout class at his SoHo gym (yea, you read that correctly) that’s getting tons of buzz. Leave it to New York City to rally behind this sort of thing. In an effort to look and feel better naked, try one of his classes and maybe rub bums with a celeb. 42 Wooster Street

Drybar

With all the running around from fashion show to fashion show, how could you possibly have time to remember to wash your hair? Book an appointment at Drybar in Tribeca for a convenient, quick, and fabulous blowout. Guarantee you won’t be the only one in there getting primped between parties. 180 W Broadway

Sézane

French-girl favorite Sézane, recently opened up a boutique in Nolita, and it is flawless. I mean, who doesn’t aspire to effortless French-girl style on a day-to-day basis? Be sure to browse, have a bite of their pastries, and pick up any last-minute basics to complete your NYFW-worthy looks you may have forgotten at home. Oh, and the space is so pretty you’re going to want to snap a picture or 10. 254 Elizabeth Street

West Village Streets
Speaking of Instragrammable backdrops… the West Village is not only incredibly close to the official NYFW happenings, the neighborhood is full of tree-lined streets and townhomes with photogenic doorways. Home to countless celebrities and even more beautiful boutiques, the West Village is worthy of an all-day stroll if you have time! Some of our favorite spots include 88 Perry and Grove Court.

Brooklyn Bridge
We’ve been seeing a solid increase in stunning pictures at the Brooklyn Bridge for months now on social media. New York Fashion Week makes the ideal occasion to hop on the bandwagon and get some gorgeous snapshots of your own.

SIMPLY New York

With a list of speakers including Catt Sadler, Brittany Snow, and Claudia Oshry aka @girlwithnojob, SIMPLY New York is sure to be a networker’s dream. The fashion and beauty conference will take place on that Saturday during New York Fashion Week. Snag your tickets before they sell out. 443 W 18th Street

Magic Hour

If you’d rather spend the weekend partying at some of the world’s best nightlife spots (we know you’re out there), take a visit to Magic Hour at the Moxy Hotel. Rihanna had her after party here last fashion week before the place really opened. The winterized rooftop not only has yummy cocktails, but also a cheeky carousel and mini-golf course. 485 7th Avenue

The Blond

The Blond is one of my favorite spots to go with my girl gang. I’m including it because everyone is always so beautiful in the crowd, they must be models. I only assume this will be amped during New York Fashion Week. The cocktails are solid, the music is great, and you’re bound to have a good time. 11 Howard Street
