Can you believe it’s March already, kittens? Based on the weather last week, we’re longing for some spring patio brunching and happy houring in the sunshine. It’s almost here, my dears!

Like Mexican? Jose Andres and Oyamel kick off the two-week Tequila and Mezcal Festival today. Oyamel will over cocktail sessions, dinners with tequila and mescal tastings and a variety of special cocktail pairings. Today, Oyamel staff will be shaking up cocktails to show the versatility of Mezcal during the complimentary session “Everything is Better with Mezcal,” from 4-6 p.m. Oyamel, 401 7th Street N.W., Washington, D.C.

Political junkies know its super Tuesday. In honor of this “holiday,” Daily Grill’s District locations will feature an all-night happy hour. At the 18th and M location, the happy hour is being hosted by Jordan Lieberman, the former president of Campaigns & Elections magazine. Wine, beer, cocktails and appetizers range from $4-6 in price. Daily Grill has locations in downtown, Georgetown, Bethesda and Tyson’s corner.

We love wine tastings (duh). It’s actually become Cori Sue’s new post-brunch activity. One of our favorite brunch spots, Agora, is hosting a wine tasting with JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery of Paso Robles, California. For $45 per person (inclusive of tax and tip) guests will sample wines that reflect the unique soils and climate of the California Central Coast and represent the Bordeaux-style blends of JUSTIN vineyard. Agora’s Executive Chef Ghassan Jarrouj will prepare a selection of canapés to accompany the vino. Reservations recommended, call (202) 332-6767. 7-8:30 p.m., the Solen Room, Agora, 1527 17th Street N.W., Washington, D.C.

Getting married or merely getting ready for the barrage of weddings known as the “season”? Then head to the second annual “Urban Chic Says I Do” bridal event. Our favorite boutique for perfect cocktail frocks will offer plenty of looks for the bride at the rehearsal dinner, bridesmaids and wedding guests. There are spectacular discounts and gifts with purchase as well as fashion advice from personal stylists. Other event highlights include a gown display from Carine’s Bridal Atelier, complimentary mini makeup and hair consultations from Nectar Skin Bar and Ipsa for Hair, and an array of gourmet treats from Fluffy Thoughts Bakery. Plus, all brides will be entered into a raffle to win a fabulous prize package featuring a veil from Carine’s. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Urban Chic Georgetown, 1626 Wisconsin Ave N.W., Washington, D.C.

It’s Fashion for Paws fundraising season! What do we love nearly as much as we love fashion and puppies? Shoes. Our dear friend Lindsey is hosting a shopping event at Saks Fifth Avenue in Tyson’s Galleria with 10% of the proceeds going to Fashion for Paws. The event includes a red-carpet walk-off, a giveaway of a complimentary pair of ‘choos and a trend presentation by DC Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Karen Sommer Shalett. If you can’t shop this Saturday, but still want to buy tickets to the event on April 14, click here. RSVP to [email protected]. 2-5 p.m. Saks Fifth Avenue, 2051 International Drive, McLean, Virginia.

Happy Brunchday, Bitches! Recently we’ve enjoyed Pearl Dive Oyster Palace, Graffiato, the Getaway, Oyamel, Daily Grill, and Room 11.
