It’s a fabulous time of year: cider time! The fifth annual Cider Week festival celebrates the seasonal return of apple cider and all its spiked variations. Choose from more than 20 workshops and tastings throughout the week. The festival culminates on Sunday: head to the Lower East Side on Sunday for the Lower East Cider Festival with three blocks of family-friendly excitement complete with folk dancing, make-your-own caramel apples and free samples of cider and bites from neighborhood eateries, including Mission Cantina and Huertas.
