If it wasn’t for my recent engagement (!), I’d be pretty depressed by the now-distant holiday and the approach of what is turning out to be a very cold winter. Luckily for us, we have another holiday approaching this weekend, so try to stay positive, channel your inner Golden Globe celebrity, and bundle up for our week of activities.

Check out Brooklyn Museum’s Killer Heels exhibit tonight, exploring our high heeled fetishes from the sixteenth century to now. This exhibit feels particularly fitting on a Monday, after two nights of foot aches from my own provocative accessories. 200 Eastern Pkwy, Brooklyn.

Tuesday

Get your bowl on while listening to the mad scientist production style of RJD2, who became most well known after producing the theme song for Mad Men. The funky Brooklyn concert venue is a perfect fit for RJD2..you’re pretty much guaranteed a good time for $20. Brooklyn Bowl, 8:30 p.m, 61 Wythe Ave. Brooklyn.
