Happy Monday! We hope all of you are bundled up and hunkering down from this freezing, slushy weather with plenty of homemade soup, Hot Toddy’s, and Netflix marathons. Now that we’re getting back to a normal schedule post-Juno, we’ve got a jam-packed social calendar to rid the winter blues. Here’s what we’re looking forward to this week.
I’m personally snuggling up with some red wine and the Bachelor tonight, but if you’re feeling active, brave the storm and head to the Trump Wollman ice skating rink in Central Park for the Soul on Ice Winter Skating Party. The event, organized by the parents of Figure Skating in Harlem, is fun for all ages and includes food, drinks, live music, and of course plenty of ice skating. The party lasts from 6-8 p.m. Central Park, enter at W. 59th St. at Sixth Ave.

We’re strong supporters of fellow power women and couldn’t be more excited to hear about the fifth annual Athena Film Festival, which kicks off today at Barnard College. The festival focuses on strong women behind and in front of the comera, with plenty of films and talks between professors and filmmakers. Various locations and times; visit athenafilmfestival.com for details.
