The 36th Annual Taste Of Chicago starts today, and we couldn’t be more excited! Taste of Chicago is one of the country’s premier outdoor food festivals that showcase the variety of foods we have here in Chicago. And don’t worry if you can’t make it on Wednesday, since the festival goes on through the weekend. For more information, click here.


A local favorite is reopening this Thursday, and you’re all invited! Son of a Butcher is reopening this Thursday at 5 p.m. and will debut new menus, new cocktails, and a revamped decor. Oh, and brunch is launching later in July (stay tuned for a review!). For more information, click here.

If you love giving back, networking, and summertime, then head to the Summer Lovin’ party, hosted by Michigan Avenue magazine and The Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital where they will host the 16th annual Summer Lovin’ party at the Chicago History museum. Enjoy food, drinks, and live music from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and know that the proceeds support innovative type 1 diabetes research at Northwestern Memorial hospital. Eataly has answered our gelato prayers and is hosting a two day event all dedicated to gelato! Yes, you read that correctly. Over two days, Eataly will create classic and new specialty flavors, like Nutella S’mores, Banana Pudding, and Prosciutto e Melon, to allow all of us to indulge in one of our favorite frozen treats.
