There are lots of exciting things are going on in Chicago this week, Bitches! From movie premieres and shows, to fun workout classes, we have lots to look forward to this week. Everything except for the cold temps!
We love a good movie, and what’s not to love about a red carpet movie premiere?! We’re headed downtown to the Renaissance Hotel for the world premiere of the Substance Over Hype film, Business Unusual. The film was shot at the hotel, and questions how one can defy a life of business travel. It has been getting nods from Billboard, among others, and we are excited to check it out. Renaissance Hotel, for more information contact The Heron Agency at [email protected]
This is the last week to check out the Lion King on it’s Chicago run. Julie Taymor’s extraordinary, spectacle-filled Disney adaptation has enjoyed a Broadway run of a whopping 18 years. The national touring company returns to Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre for the first time since 2010, so don’t miss out! Tickets range between $35 – $135. Daybreaker Chicago is back at The Annex! Early birds can get the om on before an early morning dance party. Get bendy with pre-party yoga and then dance like everyone’s watching. Expect an epic DJ, live musicians, and surprise performances, and fuel up with all the coffee, juice, and breakfast treats you could ever want. Tickets are between $25-$35.
