Ronero, the new Latin-American-inspired rum bar from owner Nils Westlind and Executive Chef Cory Morris is now open in the West Loop on Restaurant Row. We are excited to check this place out! Ronero will take guests on a tour through Central and South America. Ronero draws inspiration from the culturally rich Latin American region where Westlind grew up. The multi-level concept will serve dinner downstairs with an additional bar upstairs. For more information on Ronero, click here.
Since 2009, Chicago-based comics of all experience levels have tried new material (or tried stand-up for the first time) at Cole’s in Logan Square. As many as 50 people perform for a packed room of encouraging spectators each week. Hosts Rebecca O’Neal and Sarah Sherman punctuate performances with fresh bits of their own. Come check it out this Wednesday. The best part? Cole’s is always free! For more information, click here.
It is the last week to check out Zoo Lightst at the Lincoln Park Zoo. If you haven’t been yet to check it out, go before it is over! Brave the cold and bundle up to walk through the beautifully it zoo whilst sipping delicious hot chocolate. For more information, click here.
We are pretty much obsessed with the vegetable-forward West Loop hot spot, Bad Hunter. Be sure to look out for our brunch review to come soon. Stop in for dinner to try things like the chestnut spaghetti alla chitarra, or the saffron farfalle root bolognese, hook’s Parmesan, grapefruit breadcrumbs. For more information, click here.
