Brrr! It is miserable out there, isn’t it? As Florida girls, there’s nothing we hate more than being cold. However, with all the work and brunch, the Bitches have to work out to stay healthy and reduce stress. I’ve spent most of the fall training for a January marathon, while Becca was working to drop her 10K time.

This fall was beautiful—and it only recently became cold, and my goodness is it chilly. There’s little more challenging than motivating yourself to get out of your warm bed and out the door for a cold morning run, or a sprint around the corner to the nearest Vida Fitness.

Naturally, a great outfit or a shopping trip makes everything a bit more bearable. We headed over to Pacers on P Street to stock up on winter running gear, picking up lots of climalite cold weather apparel and new sneakers for extra motivation.

Here’s what we’ll be wearing all winter to stay warm and fit.

I’m wearing:  Adidas Climawarm Headband in grey, $20. Lole Dash Pants in Gem, $90. Brooks Striped Scarf in Grey, $50. Nike Long Sleeve, Newton Gravity Sneakers, $175, Feetures Elite Lite Socks ($14). Becca is wearing Lole Striking Top ($80), Lole Glorious Leggings in black ($65),  JCrew scarf (similar, here), Feetures Ultralite ($14). Available at Pacers locations.

Speaking of fit, have you all tried Press Juice on 14th Street? We’re obsessed. The juice bar serves up fresh-pressed juices as well as fruit and veggie smoothies and wheatgrass shots. We’ve both established a weekday routine—run, lift at Vida, juice at press, home and off to work. Becca loves the green juice (cucumber, apple, and ) whereas I can’t get enough off the blueberry spinach smoothie. Bonus points that it matches my purple running pants.

If you’re registered for the Jingle All the Way 5K, you may want to pick up some cold weather gear with your race packet. If you’re not yet registered, sign up and join us. We’ll all meet at the Hamilton afterwards for mimosas and merriment—you’ll be happy you ran in the morning!
