The Lust List: Sleek Long Sleeve Dresses

Baby it’s cold outside! It can be hard to dress up in the cold winter months, but we have found a way to stay warm while looking effortlessly chic with sleek, long-sleeve, dresses. We are also all about metallic and gold touches to outfits; they’re perfect for a New Year’s Eve party or for a fun soiree in January.

Bardot Romeo Dress | Metallic Mini Bag

I will be ringing in 2017 in this sparkly frock from REVOLVE clothing while I’m in Vancouver, B.C. with my husband and our friends at a little bar off of Granville Island downtown. The weather isn’t too chilly, and while this number looks elegant, it isn’t overly dressy. It will be perfect to have a low key night filled with a little too much champagne and too much laughter.

I simply love the details with this dress: it’s form fitting, but not too tight, and has a subtle sparkle with hints of gold in the fabric. I especially love the lace up neckline—it’s all about the little touches with this dress.

Steve Madden Tie-Up Heels (similar)

To keep up with the lace up theme of this outfit, I put on these strappy Steve Madden lace up pumps. Sure, they aren’t too practical for the cold weather, but they are oh-so-chic and I love how they look with the long length of the dress.

Additionally, I am kind of obsessed with this metallic clutch from Saks Fifth Avenue. It is the perfect mini-bag for carrying New Years’s Eve or date night essentials, like your phone, lipstick, and gum or mints. Plus, it adds a little flare to a casual outfit and can easily dress up jeans and a tee in a flash, especially if paired with a cute pair of pumps or booties.
