Lately, I’ve been really into experimenting with color combos. I love bright colors—and I’m all about going beyond the go-to hue pairings.
I’m lovin’ grey-and-citron, turquoise-and-red, and anything that’s in the same color palette: red and fuchsia? Absolutely. Different shades of blue? Of course.
A light blue-and-cobalt combo is a soft-yet-stylish pairing to transition into late summer —it’s easy, breezy, and cool.
And, I am on a Nordstrom Rack binge. My mother is a Nordstrom fanatic—the summer Anniversary sale is like Christmas in July. (Seriously, it just passed—and I had eight boxes at my apartment. Thanks, Santa!)
The shoe selection at Nordstrom Rack—at least the ones in DC, New York, Philly and Chicago—because, yes, I’ve been to all of them lately—is epic.
I picked up these printed Tory Burch pumps and I’m surprised by how much they go with. I’ve paired them three ways this month: with a blue-and-white striped dress, with a navy scalloped top, and with this light blue sweater with a fun lacy back.
In the way of other accessories, my cobalt Gigi crossbody goes with a smattering of my summer frocks and is just big enough to hold the essentials.
Last but not least, Kendra Scott’s color bar. Regardless of what hue you’re sporting, Kendra Scott has an affordable jewelry set in the shade.
