Some of us may be in total denial that summer is far behind us at this point, but I’m fully embracing the autumnal color palate, cozy blanket scarfs, and anything pumpkin-spiced. For those wistfully looking back on the dog days of summer, one major warm weather trend is pulling through this fall–jumpsuits.
Summery rompers get a seasonal twist in length, fabric, and colors. We’re loving one-pieces with pants or sleeves, but you can also toss tights or high socks with your summer apparel to get some extra longevity from the piece. Suade booties, like Emily’s Madewell boots pictured here, are the perfect complement to this trendy autumnal look.
Most of the fall jumpsuits this season are in muted tones like burnt red, olive, navy, and plum. Pattern-wise, we’re trading summer florals and palm leaves for Southwestern-inspired prints and bold geometrics.
We’re also loving jumpsuits inspired by the utility jacket trend. These one-pieces channel a military vibe with a structured shape, thick fabric, and neutral colors. Add a feminine twist by belting the jumpsuit or adding girly accessories such as strappy heels, stacked bracelets, or ear cuffs.
Below are our top fall jumpsuits that we’re lusting after this month:
