Our Bitches’ tastes run the style gamut. In New York, Ally has a quirky Boho chic style while Emily opts for cute yet functional looks with an outdoorsy, New England vibe. Becca prefers ladylike, tailored looks and I am sort of unpredictable—preppy with a twist or edgy and tailored.
We all know it’s important to establish your aesthetic, building a wardrobe with pieces that complement one another—but add your own signature style.
Next to navy-and-white, black and tan is a classic color combination that looks chic all winter long. After all, black boots, black pants, and camel colored coats are necessary winter staples. Leopard, naturally, is a neutral and a red lip is an easy way to upgrade an outfit.
Never ones to be boring, we like to add our own signature flair making each outfit stand out in our own way.
I took this camel and black theme literally—opting for my favorite tan sweater with a camel on it, paired with a red lip and my go-to leopard loafers. As I was home in Florida, the temperature was in the 60s, so I was able to wear a black skirt sans tights. And, yes, the warm weather was glorious and much needed.
After returning to Washington, I switched to black skinny pants with my fave camel sweaters, red lips, and pops of leopard. Once the snow melts, this ensemble would be great for a dinner date with a pair of tights.
A bevy of black and gold baubles make accessorizing and packing easy—I just threw everything black and gold into a jewelry organizer for a ten day trip. Some of our favorite pieces, including Sophie Blake earrings and bracelets, Lisi Lerch tassels, and this leather scalloped clutch, are available in the Bitch shop.
