The New York Bitches are fans of pretty much any place in the Andrew Carmellini family (see Lafayette and the Dutch brunches), and his Tribeca outpost, Locanda Verde, was right on-par with our high expectations. Step directly off the iconic TriBeCa cobblestones into a sleek, classy interior with bursts of European flair. Expect to be flooded with sunshine from expansive windows as you sip your morning coffee or house made cold-pressed juice.
Black on black is the de facto Manhattan uniform, but we’d spice up our brunch attire with a pop of color and various textures such as fringe and ruffles. We’d wear a shoe bit of a heel, like these lust-worthy Stuart Weitzman booties, at this trendy neighborhood spot and show a bit of tasteful collarbone with this off-the-shoulder TopShop number. For chillier temperatures, just toss on a leather jacket and you’re ready to dig into some antipasti.
Everything we sampled on the Italian-inspired brunch menu was a must-try; stand outs included the soft scrambled eggs with speck, uovo modonese, and lemon ricotta pancakes. We adored the option to take your pastries and coffees to-go for a picturesque walk around the TriBeCa cobblestones. Read our full brunch review here.
