Many cafes in the West Village are quaint and charming, but Buvette’s artfully curated and well executed menu, on top of a darling ambiance, make it one of our go-to locales for brunch and dinner alike. The rustic exposed brick walls and detailed tin ceiling are inspired by the streets of Paris and we were perfectly happy to settle into one of the wonderful nooks with a steaming hot latte.
The restaurant’s no-reservation policy and tiny accommodations makes brunch for groups next to impossible. Head to Buvette for an intimate brunch date and dress to impress. Buvette satisfies our inner Francophile and consequently our wardrobes reflect on a Parisian chic style. We’d layer a classic striped turtleneck with a soft faux fur vest underneath crisp black skinnies, finished with plenty of baubles. It’s a pretty and polished look that isn’t trying too hard.
Our favorite dishes were decadently delicious, but made with simple ingredients such as the warm croissants, Croque Madame, and chèvre scrambled eggs. Read our full brunch review here.
