It’s been hard to ignore the level of pride that’s swept DC since the Nationals made the World Series, from watch parties at the Bullpen to Nationals flags appearing in windows throughout the city. We wanted to bring you a list of fitness studios exclusive to DC to showcase what this winning city has to offer.

A community studio with locations in Shaw and Petworth, District Pilates is a boutique fitness studio with experienced trainers and top-notch equipment. A sizzling escape from the commotion of its Penn Quarter location, Illumin8 offers a selection of yoga classes from their Hotter 26, an extended hot yoga class, to Invigor8 which combines high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and yoga in a 90-degree room. Shaw Yoga

Tucked in a quiet Shaw alley, Shaw Yoga gives DC residents access to some of the most practiced and respected instructors. Feel like a badass at this training gym complete with battle ropes, tractor tires and state of the art training equipment. Owner, Tim Bruffy, is a highly respected member of the fitness community and provides personal training and group boot camp style fitness for DC residents looking for a more raw fitness experience. DC’s first body confident fitness studio located downtown, PULSE offers CLIMB, a thirty-minute VersaClimber workout, and LAB, a high-intensity interval training workout, classes in an upbeat environment. DC Row

DC Row is DC’s first and only strictly rowing fitness studio located in the Wharf. Take a class and feel like you are rowing down the Potomac on one of the 20 water rowers.
