Wow. The weekend was so stunning, all I wanted to do was sit in a park and enjoy it. Alas, we were running around like banshees (per usual).

If you’re lucky enough to have the day off work, get brunch! Lots of restaurants are serving brunch today, including Red Rocks Pizzeria, Kramerbooks & Afterwards Cafe, Founding Farmers, Eatonville, Busboys & Poets, and Belga Cafe.

I’m taking a couple days’ breather, then back to it on Thursday and into the weekend. Check back later today for a fabulous giveaway (hint: it involves wine).

The Village at Shirlington is hosting a Girls’ Night Out this Thursday evening. Ladies are invited to enjoy cocktails, cupcakes, trunk shows, and promotions from The Village’s spas, restaurants, retailers, and theater. Plus, it’s the Village’s first restaurant week, with two-course $15 lunches and three-course $25 dinners.

In Maryland instead of Virginia? The Shops at Wisconsin Place are hosting Passport to Style Thursday evening. A $20 donation gains access to one-night-only shopping events as well as a swag bag filled with products, gift cards and special offers. Plus there will be complimentary wine and exclusive beauty treatments. A few attendees will be surprised with VIP swag bags that include one-of-a-kind gifts, like a Nantucket getaway. Proceeds benefit Hope for Henry Foundation and Washington Humane Society’s Fashion for Paws. Register here.

It’s one of my favorite parties in D.C. this Friday night. I will be at the Hirshhorn After Hours with my friends, dancing the night away, and checking out the new Andy Warhol “Shadows” exhibit. This party is always a blast. Get tickets!

Looking for something a little less wild but still for a good cause? NESTination India, hosted by NEST DC in partnership with the Indian Embassy, will kick off at Indique Heights in Chevy Chase. Think traditional food, drinks, entertainment, and a speech from the Indian Ambassador. NESTination celebrates the women artisans that NEST supports through micro-lending and business development training. Get tickets here.

ReadysetDC’s fourth Fashion District is Saturday night. I’ve been to all of them, and I can’t wait for this one, either. This year’s featured designers include some old faces and new. Can’t make the big show? Friday night is a Designer Meet & Greet, and Sunday is The Shop. Get tickets to all of them here. Saturday’s show is 9 pm to Midnight, Eastern Market North Hall, 225 7th Street SE.

Cori Sue is playing on Team Brunette in the 2011 Blondes vs. Brunettes powderpuff game, which raises funds for the National Capital Alzheimer’s Association. This Sunday, she’s hosting a brunch party at Policy, on 14th and T N.W. It’ll be bottomless mimosas, lots of great food, good music, some dancing (a party!) from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. $42 includes bottomless mimosas, delicious food, tax, tip, and a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday.
