What a weekend! I am still recovering from The Hunt, an all day horse race extravaganza that gets New Yorkers flocking to the burbs in their fall best. Fur, flannel and vest-clad city-goers take over the NJ Transit for a day that begins classy and ends muddy and compromised, thanks to a champagne fueled tailgate which promises minimal horse sightings but maximum fun. After another successful year hosting my friends at our legacy spot, I’ll be taking it easy all week and filling my time not on the couch with the below social calendar.

If you’re hitting a wall in your studio workouts and the choreography isn’t motivating you the way it used to, shake things up with The Monster Cycle, a new gym in Soho that claims “fitness is the new nightlife.”We’re not yet convinced cycling can replace a martini filled evening on the town, but with theme rides like “it’s Britney, bitch”, we’re willing to give it a try. 182 Lafayette Street (Soho).
