Alright, you city romantics. When you’re not binge eating chocolate and dusting off all of your pinks and reds, check out our social calendar for events to share with your loved ones.

If Valentine’s Day isn’t your holiday, don’t fret. It’s fashion week, bitches!

Monday

city-bakery

With more snow on the horizon and freezing forecasts bringing down our week, City Bakery’s Hot Chocolate Festival couldn’t come at a better time. Tonight, swing by for “Ode to the Polar Bear” and sip on their delicious, thick chocolate concoction. 3 West 18th Street, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tuesday

Jacob’s Pickles on the Upper West Side will host a Beer, Cheese & Pickle tasting benefit for the West Side Campaign Against Hunger. For $50, you’ll have access to brews from Long Island’s Barrier Brewery and a full tasting. 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Buy tickets online here.

Wednesday

Kitchen: sweet potato

Try this roasted sweet potato with crispy shallots and sour cream recipe tonight and tag #bitchesinthekitchen to show off your kitchen success!

Thursday

Fifty-Shades-of-Grey

After months of embarrassing glances exchanged between fellow Subway riders also reading Fifty Shades during their morning commute, it’s time to finally see the book play out on screen. Check out Entertainment Nation’s VIP viewing party this Thursday and be one of the first in Manhattan! Regal Union Square Stadium 14, 850 Broadway, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., buy tickets here.

Friday

Scoot out of work right at 5 p.m. today to visit the Museum of Modern Art and avoid a $25 admission fee. Free from 4 to 8 p.m. on Fridays only. 11 West 53rd Street.

If art isn’t your thing, head to the Washington Jefferson Hotel from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for complimentary beauty service like mini-manis, mini-massages and dry styling, thanks to fashion week. 318 W. 51st St

Saturday

No one likes a pre fixe meal, especially on a day that fills normally busy restaurants with mushy lovers. We recommend sending your special someone pre-ordered flowers through UrbanStems, getting a boatload of Momofuku Milk Bar baked goods, and having a great night at home.

Sunday

Pig & Khao Brunch

Brunch! Check out recently reviewed Pig & Khao for a killer bottomless deal (hello, serve-yourself keg!) and delicious Filipino fare.
