Although snow hasn’t hit the ground, it’s officially December. Christmas markets, ice skating rinks, and curbside tree sales have popped up on every street single so merry, merry Bitches. Here’s what we’re looking forward to this week in NYC.

Monday

The Museum at FIT is celebrating minority fashion designers with a new exhibition opening today. Titled Black Fashion Designers, the exhibit explores the experiences of generations of African and African American fashion designers. Wednesday
The latest book to be featured in James Beard’s Beard on Books series is “The Four Seasons of Pasta,” which explores Italian noodles through the lens of a seasonal American menu. Join the authors, mother-daughter duo Nancy Harmon Jenkins and Sara Jenkins, for a discussion and reading from the book, which features more than 120 recipes. Light refreshments will also be served.
