Join cookbook author and illustrator Marcella Kriebel in an evening of watercolor painting of an original recipe by mixologist Gina Chersevan of Buffalo and Bergen. Guests will enjoy a specialty seasonal cocktail paired with the tools to paint your own illustrated recipe of Chersevani’s beverage in watercolor. You’ll receive a first-hand lesson in watercolor techniques alongside a demo of how to make the drink at home. Thursday 

BKE and The Embassy Row Hotel Washington DC – A Destination Hotel are joining forces for Art in to Dusk, an event that highlights local artists, including art exhibitions and live and visual creative installations. Relax on the rooftop of The Embassy Row Hotel and enjoy a cocktail while watching the sun fall beneath the Washington skyline. This summer series occurs every Thursday, beginning May 19th through September 30th. Please join Anne Beers Elementary School for an art auction fundraiser to support enrichment activities for students and teachers at a thriving school located in the ward 7 neighborhood of Hillcrest. The Capitol Hill Night-Out event begins at 8 p.m. at Eastern Market and the live auctioneer will start the auction promptly at 9 p.m. There will be hors d’oeuvres, dessert, wine, and beer, and an open bar during the preview hour. You are invited to parade the rooftop and social area of the AC Hotel located at the National Harbor for Stems, Stilettos, and Stogies.
