It’s National Margarita Day! Celebrate at Cyclone Anaya’s, when the Jumbo House Margarita will be just $5 all day. That’s the same price as when the Mexican restaurant launched the drink with in 1978, when they introduced the jumbo margarita to Houston.

Turn Up the Heat is an important fundraiser for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance as the organization continues its work on behalf of ovarian cancer survivors. There is still so much we need to learn and do to change the course of this disease. Commissary will host the Sixth Annual Oscar’s Viewing Party this year with a Meryl Streep theme starting at 8 a.m. in honor of her 20th Oscar nomination. The viewing party will kick-off  with brunch and Meryl Streep movies shown all day on a full wall projector. Once the brunch fun winds down, Commissary will transform into the set of La La Land, and host a Red Carpet viewing starting at 4 p.m., with happy hour in full swing until 7 p.m. Both during the red carpet arrivals and once the awards begin, a La La Land themed menu (in addition to the regular dinner menu) will be available with an array of small plates and desserts.
