It’s a short week and we couldn’t be happier. We Bitches have already headed home to see our loved ones at various spots across the States. We’re enjoying some much-needed R&R. We’re wishing you and yours a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season.

In Washington, the Downtown Holiday Market is open noon to 8 p.m. on December 23. I’d go for the mini-doughnuts alone. 9th and F Streets N.W. (in front of the Portrait Gallery).

Didn’t get what you wanted for Christmas? Then head to Watefront Station to shop at the local fashion trucks. (Yes, fashion trucks). The region’s top four-wheeled fashion trucks will offer selections of clothing, jewelry, accessories, and more. Plus, there will be fun activities: music! Face painting! Balloon artists!.  Participating Fashion Trucks: Craft Commons, Curbside Fashion Truck, Curvy Chix  Chariot, Saivita Flower Truck, Street Boutique, The Strut Truck. The Thread Truck, Tin Lizzy. The event is open to the public and free to attend. Cameras are welcome Waterfront Station, 401 M St. S.W., Washington, D.C. 1-5 p.m.
