This Week in D.C.: Nov. 9-15

Last week, I started listening to Christmas music. Sorry I’m not sorry. While it feels a bit strange to be getting into the holiday spirit while wearing a t-shirt and flip flops, we’ll keep riding this warm weather wave into mid-November, with these local happenings. Have a great week!

Monday, November 9

Missed the opening FotoWeek DC party last week? No worries, the festivities will continue through November 15. Be sure to check out the FotoWeek Central calendar for event listings and locations.

There’s nothing like Old Town Alexandria in the fall. The cobblestone streets, quaint shops and waterfront restaurants keep us crossing the river to Virginia every season. Now, with the new Aperitivo hour at Carluccio’s, an authentic Italian restaurant, we have another reason to visit. From 3pm-6pm guests can enjoy 20% off the Stuzzicini menu and $1 off house wines and Peroni on tap. Now that’s amore. Carluccio’s, 100 King St., Alexandria, VA, 22314.

We’re always game to venture to new neighborhoods, especially when there’s BBQ involved.
