Temperatures might have hit an all-time high this weekend, but the weekly happenings on your social agenda are making the District as hot as ever. Thanks to the many events to see and be seen, a Bitch will barely have a chance to cool off. Between the frenzy, however; we know of your opportunities for some freebies.

Our favorite women-owned local event stylers, Heirloom Catering, are giving away a free ticket to their Summer Soiree to any savvy lady on social media who posts a picture inspired by seasonal summer delights. Taking place Thursday, the Summer Soiree is a mid-summer dinner party highlighting delicious, local fare. To enter, post a photo of a food dish that is inspired by summer and use the hashtag #SummerSoireeDC and mention @HeirloomDC. We’ll announce a winner via Instagram this Wednesday.

If that wasn’t enough, theater-goers can take advantage of the Taste of Studio Theater with a ticket giveaway happening Monday and drawings will be announced on August 1st.

The second giveaway is for Taste of Studio Theatre on Saturday, August 1. The all-day party includes a beer garden and sidewalk sale of studio theatre props (theatre geeks rejoice!) from 12-8 p.m. Cme nighttime, the main tasting event begins with a mixology lounge and tasting tables from local restaurants from 4-7 p.m. The event will feature bites and sips from: B Too, Posto, Birch and Barley, Churchkey, Bluebird Bakery, Daikaya, Compass Coffee, Cava Grill, as well as performances by the cast of Silence! The Musical, mini-workshops and demonstrations from the faculty of the Studio Theatre Acting. The fundraising event is hosted in conjunction with Midcity Dog Days, and showcases Studio Theatre’s 3-level building.

We’re giving away two tickets to Taste of Studio. To win, follow @BitchesWhoBrunch on instagram, like us on Facebook, like Studio Theatre on Facebook, and leave a comment below. We’ll draw a winner next Monday! If your’re not lucky enough to be the winning Bitch, use the code BWB75 for the Bitches-only $75 price.
