Tonight, the James Beard Awards are making their Chicago debut. If you weren’t able to snag a ticket to the chef all star event, we suggest you head to Intro. Rich Melman is receiving the James Beard Lifetime Achievement award, and as part of the celebration, Intro is hosting a dinner series co-hosted by Saveur Magazine. Available until May 9th, the Rising Star Chef Dinner Series features Ari Taymor (Alma), Jessica Langey (Manresa), Intro chefs CJ Jacobson and Erik Anderson, along with Michael Laiskonis. A portion of ticket proceeds benefit the James Beard Foundation and range between $95 – $125.

Paul Fehribach, chef and co-owner of Big Jones, will host a Big Jones Cookbook supper to showcase dishes from his new cookbook with a prix-fixe family-style supper. The supper will begin with a 6 p.m. Punch Time reception, followed by dinner. Tickets are $45 per person. Guests may also choose to attend Cake & Cocktails from 8-10 p.m. for $25 per person. Kevin Cuddihee (Executive Chef at TWO) and Chris Marchino (Executive Chef of Spiaggia) team up for their first pop-up event at Snaidero Chicago. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and consists of a 5-course dinner with Terlato wine pairings. The cost is $145 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity). Snaidero Chicago is located at 110 West Kinzie Avenue.
