Happy Monday, Bitches! You can certainly tell spring is on its way, given the gorgeous sunny skies and 60 degree weather this past weekend. I sure hope this weather lasts longer than a Chanel sample sale. Here’s what’s happening this week in Chi Town.

Monday

Unless you are a Duke fan or Wisconsin fan, it’s just another Monday day night. Don’t fret, we’ve got a Dinner Party like no other cure your case of the Mondays. Elysabeth Alfano, host of The Dinner Party, is branching out with a new show and new format. Each week, Alfano invites 3 national celebs and a well-known chef to join her for dinner. Since 2015 is the Year of Trotter on The Dinner Party, each show is guaranteed to have one of Chicago’s Best Chefs. This month, she’s featuring Chef Ryan McCaskey of Acadia. Tuesday

Forever Young: A concept, which we should all live by. Channel your inner child and stop by Headquarters Beercade for a night of arcade games and $3 craft beers, to honor National Beer Day. Cheers, Bitches! Headqaurters Beercade has two locations: 2833 N. Sheffield & 213 W Institute Place.

Wednesday

Who doesn’t love a good Empanada? Celebrate on April 8 with National Empanada Day at Nacional 27. Three different empanadas are on the menu, each for just $1. Choose from: Queso (pepper jack, cream cheese, chipotle salsa); Chicken with roasted vegetables and lemon mustard; or Short Rib with caramelized onion and pepper jack cheese. Nacional 27 is located at 325 West Huron.

Thursday

These spring temps are getting us excited for warm weather fun. Brush up on your golf swing, with lessons at one of our favorite golf courses, Harborside. Talk about a course with a view! Harborside International Golf Center is located at 11001 South Doty Avenue East.

Friday

It’s been too long since we’ve been a good concert. Check out Guster at one of our favorite musical venues, the Riv. Tickets are still available for sale here. The Riv is located at 4746 N Racine Ave.

Saturday

Bacon Month means all sorts of specials throughout the city. Head to Flo Café & Bar and sip on a homemade bacon infused bourbon Bloody Mary. Flo is located at 1434 West Chicago Avenue.

Sunday

Cub’s season has officially started…is this year the year? Before heading to a game at Wrigley, check out one of the best brunch places in the city for your pre-game eats. Brunch is served daily at Southport Grocery and Café, located at 3552 North Southport Ave.
