Fall has arrived, and the Bitches are here with all of the early October Fall activities you should partake in this week! We are ready to enjoy of the Fall festivals Chicago has to offer.  Also, it is the start of theater season. We will keep you in the know with what shows to check out this year.

Take advantage of Free Days at the Museum of Science and Industry. Show your Illinois ID to enter the museum for free Monday through Wednesday. Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, one of the largest science museums in the world, is home to more than 35,000 artifacts and 400,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits designed to spark scientific inquiry and creativity. Partake in the fourth annual Fall Dinner Crawl in Wicker Park and Bucktown! Brought to you by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, this event gives you an opportunity to dine at some of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. Choose from four different routes within the area, that showcase different restaurants, and eat food from hot spots like The Bedford, Carriage House, Antique Taco, Takito Kitchen, and other awesome restaurants. Enjoy a piece of Bavaria right in River North at Public House’s annual “Public Haus” Oktoberfest Celebration! You’ll enjoy five five-ounce pours of German brews like Erdinger and Weihenstephaner Festbier. Once you select a favorite, you’ll enjoy a full glass in a souvenir beer stein—which is yours to keep. This Thursday, the Blue Man Group returns with a new stage show that combines comedy, art, science, visual effects, and music at Briar Street Theatre. If you haven’t seen them before, you have to check them out. The Blue Man Group is a staple in the Chicago theater scene, and with theater season upon us, you should definitely take advantage. Friday  This Friday and Saturday, enjoy visual art, music and fashion in restaurants and shops during the West Town Art Walk. Welcome in Fall with the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce’s 28th Annual Apple Fest! The festivities will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Apple Fest is a long standing tradition in Lincoln Square bringing the community together to celebrate the beginning of fall. Dozens of vendors participate in the yearly event, selling everything from candy apples to scarves and hats. Stop by and pick up a freshly baked apple pie, a bushel of apples, hot apple cider, or even an apple pizza. The event is free, find out more information here.

The Lyric Opera of Chicago presents the magical and romantic fairy tale, Cinderella. Opening night is this Sunday in Chicago’s historic Civic Opera House, Cinderella be performed in Italian with English subtitles until October 30th.. Purchase tickets and find out more information here.
