Fall weather is sneaking in slowly but surely, and we are embracing all of the fall activities. Check out your social calendar for this week.

With October being the month of Oktoberfest’s, Sink | Swim is getting in on the action with a their own creative twist: Shucktoberfest! Head to this popular Logan Square spot to watch four teams of oyster and beer connoisseurs come together for a one-of-a-kind shuck-off! For more information, click here.

Head to the inaugural Taste of Roscoe Street tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and taste special cuisine from ten of Roscoe Village’s most popular restaurants including Riverview tavern, Kitsch’n on Roscoe, Orange on Roscoe, and more. Tickets are $35 pre-sale, and $45 at the door. For more information, and tickets, click here.

If you’re not into watching the debate, or if you don’t have Hamilton tickets, then head to one of the restaurants participating in the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce Restaurant Week. With over 20 restaurants participating, this Wednesday will be a great evening to grab a delicious prix-fixe dinner. For more information, click here.

Truffles and wine? Yes, please! White truffles are currently being harvested around the world, and Eataly is celebrating with a truffles and wine paired dinner event! With the truffle harvest, and the release of the 2011 vintage Fontanafredda’s “La Rosa” barolo, Eataly is hosting an epic dinner of some to die for pairings. For tickets and more information, click here.

If you’re looking for something fun to take part in all weekend, then head to the Lincoln Park Zoo for Fall Fest! Tickets include access to the Ferris wheel, a corn maze, hay mountain, inflatable obstacle course and me. For more information, click here.

If you didn’t get to run in the Chicago Marathon this past weekend, then head to the shorter Pumpkins in the Park 5K. Many people celebrate and run the race dressed in some creative and spooky costumes. Might as well get more use out of your Halloween costumes, rather than just one night! For more information, click here.

Looking for a brand new brunch menu to celebrate the weekend? Then head to Chez Moi in Lincoln Park. Chez Moi just debuted a brand new autumn menu (stay tuned for the dinner menu recap!) inspired by every basic Bitch’s favorite: pumpkin. For more information, click here.

After a delicious brunch, head to Howl-O-Ween Festival with your favorite pooch! All of the pumpkin carving, dog costume contest, and prizes are brought to you by One Tail At A Time Adoption Center. Enjoy the fun and festivities, and click here for more information.
