Memorial Day weekend is upon us! It will be officially summer (and white pants season, too) and we couldn’t be more excited. So, get outside this week with our fun filled social agenda.

If you’re a film buff, head to the Chicago Critics Film Festival at the Music Box Theater on Southport in Lakeview. The festival is running through the 26th and features shorts, features, documentaries, and other film media from all around the country. This entire week, celebrate Chicago Craft Beer Week with a variety of events and specials all over the city. This Tuesday, head to one of our brunch favorites, Publican Quality Meats, for a grill-out hosted by Revolution Brewery. The event starts at 4 p.m. and goes till 9 p.m., so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy all the sips and bites Publican Quality Meats and Revolution has to offer. For more information, click here.


Replay Andersonville is hosting a delicious five course dinner paired with one of Indiana’s most popular craft beers—3 Floyds. The event kicks off 7 p.m. and is only $55 per person. Looking for a fun event where you can also give back? Then head to Modern Fête this Thursday in Logan Square. In partnership with the Greenhouse Loft, enjoy libations, small bites, and raise money for the Center for Changing Lives, a nonprofit working to help those who live in Chicago. In honor of those who have served our country, watch Chicago’s annual Memorial Day Parade as it starts at the Daley Plaza at 11 a.m. and heads down State Street.
