Hopefully you didn’t melt like a boozy popsicle in the humidity this past weekend. Being the last week in July, the Bitches are treasuring each precious moment left of summer. Here is what is Bitch-Approved this week in CHI!

Monday
It is National Tequila Day! Easy Bar is taking the opportunity to celebrate, and we are far from opposed. Indulge yourself by sipping $6 margaritas on the sunny Easy Bar patio. Play a game of giant Jenga to your favorite tune picked on the jukebox. The event starts at 5 p.m. and lasts until bar’s closed. For more information, click here. Easy Bar, 1944 W. Division St., Chicago, IL.

Tuesday
All Bitches love to celebrate and host. It comes with the territory. If you don’t believe us, take a look at our lemonade-themed brunch. The Ladies Who Celebrate Event Series are taking over the Rent the Runway store for an evening with Boss Bitches in the entertaining biz to share tips for entertaining in the summer. Boss Bitch entertaining innovators such as Joslyn Villalpando with J. Villa Workshop, Revae Schneider with Femme Du Coupe, and Bloomerent will be in attendance. The event lasts from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Registration is free. To register and for more information, click here. Rent the Runway, 710 N. Wabash St., Chicago, IL.

Wednesday
Top Chicago ice cream parlor, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, is debuting its collaboration with Right Bee Cider at Kaiser Tiger. Jeni’s created a light and refreshing hard cider sorbet to add to its already out of this world ice cream menu. The hard cider sorbet is made with cider from Right Bee Cider, Chicago’s first cidery since prohibition. It’s about time! Head to the Skyline Lounge at Kaiser Tiger from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. for scoops of hard cider sorbet served with pints of Right Bee Cider. For more information, click here. Kaiser Tiger, 1415 W. Randolph St., Chicago, IL.

Thursday
Ugly sweaters are as hideous in July as they are in December, but that can’t stop us from participating in the holiday fun at Slippery Slope! Slippery Slope is hosting Christmas in July for those of you who can not stay away from Christmas music all year long. Ringing true to the holiday spirit, school supplies and donations will be accepted benefitting Chicago Public Schools. Don’t be a Scrooge. The event begins at 9 p.m. For more information, click here. Slippery Slope, 2357 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL.

Friday

Before The Roots take the stage, watch or compete in a fashion show debuting the nights best costumes, and in the world’s slowest bike race where the winner is the person who crosses the finish line last. It will be a day of costumes, craft beer, bicycling, and live music. It will not disappoint. The festivities begin at 4 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. Tickets are $25. For tickets and more information, click here. Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, 1300 S. Linn White Drive, Chicago, IL.

Sunday
“Purple! Your aura is purple!” We love the movie Almost Famous, mostly because Kate Hudson is a goddess, but also, the movie is incredible. If you haven’t had the opportunity to view this classic film, head to PBR movie night at Boiler Room in Logan Square for a chill Sunday night. Even if you have seen the flick, you know it is worth your time to see again. For more information, click here. The Boiler Room, 2210 N. California Ave., Chicago, IL.
