Happy 2017, ladies! It’s hard to believe that 2016 has come and gone but we are onto bigger and better things this year. To start 2017 off right, we have your social agenda here to keep you busy this first week of the year.

Monday

Tuesday
If you are a fan of BYOB painting classes, then head to this one after work with local artist, Alejandra. This two and a half hour class costs $40 and comes with chips, salsa, three tacos per person, and a medium sized canvas for every participant. For more information, click here.

Wednesday
If you haven’t had a chance to visit the Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier, then make sure to go before it ends this Sunday! The fest includes an indoor toboggan tunnel, winter mini golf, and a fifteen foot snow tubing hill. For more information, click here.

Thursday
The 16th Annual Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival is underway and it starts Thursday! Stage 773 is hosting the festival, which is considered a comedic melting pot that has been bringing over 1,000 artists together each year to show off their comedic skills. Friday
If you’re a beer fan then head to McGee’s to the Tap The Keg event for the exclusive Goose Island Bourbon County beer. There will also be plenty of giveaways, including free tickets to brewery tours, so head there early. For more info, click here.

Saturday
Get a jump start on your New Year’s resolutions with the 1.7K, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Yeti and Mt. Everest Challenge at the Chicago Monster Race Series. Grab your friends, some warm clothes, and head there this Saturday and get ready for a good time. Tickets are still available and can be found, here.

Sunday
The City Winery is giving us lots to wine about this Sunday at the Wine & Style event. The event is co-hosted by Fredda, a life stylist, and City Winery’s beverage director, Rebekah Mahru.
