One of the more vibrant, exciting, and stressful weeks is upon us! As we are getting our last presents wrapped and finding our New Years Eve outfits, here are some fun activities to help you end the year with a bang!

When the holidays come around, every can’t wait to cozy up and watch their favorite flick. Well, this Monday at 7:30 p.m., the ROOF is screening the holiday classic, Love Actually. Enjoy the classic film, while munching on complimentary popcorn. For $7 each guest can choose from popular movie candies and homemade donuts from the Wit’s pastry chef Toni Roberts. The last week to enjoy the Holiday Happy Hour Spa Special for Le Meridien is upon us! So, if you have plans to go shopping and get your last minute gifts at Oak Brook Shopping Center, consider booking an appointment at Le Meridien and enjoy a massage, a cocktail, and an appetizer at the end of a day of shopping. More holiday movies are screening around the city! If you live up north, head to the Logan Theatre and watch Will Ferrell in his prime in Elf at 10:30 p.m.. If you live near the South Loop, head to the ShowPlace ICON at Roosevelt Collection and see the holiday classic Miracle on 34th Street at 2:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m..

One of the best parts about the holidays is the amazing food specials at restaurants. This Christmas Eve, Intro is hosting a special Chinese menu with dishes such as truffled egg drop soup, roasted duck, and foie gras fried rice. Christmas is here and The Langham Chicago has a Christmas buffet fit for Kings and Bitches alike! Starting at 11 a.m. the hotel is serving a special jazz brunch buffet, a Bloody Mary bar, and a carving station for all you carnivores. Delight your inner child and take a ride this Saturday on the Polar Express train while sipping hot cocoa. This one hour long train ride will give you views of the city and will be a holiday activity to remember. Tickets start at $25 so if you’re looking for an activity before or after Christmas, then click here.

Just in case you’re not completely candied and chocolated out, the Chicago Chocolate Crawl is happening this Sunday. This 90 minute guided walk includes samples of chocolate from a variety of shops all around Chicago and this is the last weekend, so book your tickets here!
