Monday
Head to Frontier in Noble Square for a special night of wine and farm-to-table foods pairings. Australian vintner Matt Fowles will pair his line of “Are You Game?” wines with a menu created by Frontier’s head chef. The menu includes ahi tuna sliders, roasted pork belly, and camel flautas. In honor of the upcoming opening of Firefin Poké in the Loop, the shop’s Chef Rodelio Aglibot will be hosting a cooking demo at the West Loop Mariano’s. Head to the Harris Theater in Millennium Park after work for MIX at SIX, a happy hour performance series. Tonight’s performers are C!RCA, a circus troupe unlike any you have ever seen before. Calling all design-minded, philanthropic Bitches! Join Chicago Magazine for their seventh annual Chairs for Charity event at Casa Spazio in River North. Bitches can bid on 15 vintage chairs that have been given a makeover by Chicago’s savviest designers. Bitches, it’s time to put on your dancing shoes and show off those dance moves you picked up in Zumba class at the Chicago Salsa and Bachata Festival. Get a cooking lesson from Rick Bayless, learn how to brew your own kombucha, and find out how you can keep chickens in your backyard at the Good Food Festival, held at the UIC Forum. While taking photos with the Easter bunny may be considered socially unacceptable past the age of eight, Longman & Eagle has given us adult Bitches an egg hunt to attend. After your Easter brunch, head to Longman & Eagle for their Adult Easter Egg Hunt. The event features a competitive egg hunt followed by a block party and prize ceremony.
