Oh, good God. The Lanvin collection look book debuted yesterday (with prices!), and as soon as it was tweeted I almost lost it. The dresses! The gorgeous dresses! And that divine zebra coat. I see a winter of beautiful party frocks ahead. The video is spot on: I want Lanvin, not flowers. Not diamonds. LANVIN I TELL YOU!
Update! Women’s Wear Daily just announced that “every sale of the Lanvin collection will be crowned with a signature garment bag decorated with paintings by Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz. Shoe and jewelry boxes are also decorated with his illustrations … For the first time, H&M is opening all of its U.S. stores at 8 a.m. the day of the launch, rather than the usual 10 a.m. due to perceived pent-up demand for the collection.”
Another update! The Washingtonian reported that the collection will be sold in D.C., but at the downtown H&M only. Ladies, see you in line Nov. 20 at 1025 F St., NW …
I am running to the nearest H&M on November 20, when it debuts in U.S. stores. And it better come to D.C. (last year, when the Jimmy Choo collection came out in H&M stores it skipped over D.C. stores all together – totally cruel). I don’t often write “Lust List” posts, but I am, indeed, lusting my little heart out. Must. Have. the Yellow. Dress. That is my favorite of them all. Here are some other top picks to drool over:

I’m still sad I ruined my Pull Sonia Rykiel for H&M (and by I, I mean my husband who decided to wash it with regular clothes…)
At first I was going to be very sad, because I’m traveling the 19th. But timing works out for me… for some reason his collection only comes out on the 23rd at Parisian H&Ms so I might still be able to snag a dress too. I have my eyes on the pretty aubergine one with the belt. Don’t think my skin will pull off yellow
