March is here, which means spring is near. We’re all jetting off to warmer climates and, as a result, filling our shopping bags with resort-inspired attire.

There are some key trends for spring: florals, graphic prints, coral, mint, crop-tops, midi skirts, and more. The Bitches’ fashion essentials, accessories needs, and beauty buys this month are all about getting us prepared for spring with style and gusto.

Fashion

Our first way to channel any style is with a fabulous frock. Becca plans to snatch up graphic-print maxi dresses like this one from Anthropologie, while Cori Sue is loving an emerald green shift. Completely obsessed with the entire Milly Resort collection this year, Becca will be wearing a tropical print Milly sheath dress to the office—and perhaps to the beach.

Bitch in the City Emily W. thinks Lily completes any resort wardrobe by pairing a classic shift dress with the bright colors of a vacation. Rock this dress during the daytime for a sunny lunch by the pool, or dress it up with wedges for a night out. Cori Sue prefers this three-quarter length shift in a similar print.

Inspired by our graphic resortwear Lust List, Biz Bitch Emily will be showing off her rockin’ figure with the Clover Canyon Huntington Gardens Dress, which balances a conservative neckline with a form-fitting style, making this dress perfect for day-to-night dressing.

Aside from dresses, Cori Sue is loving a spring motorcycle jackets in coral and white, like these from BB Dakota and Rebecca Minkoff.

Business Bitch Emily has snatched up the ASTR Scalloped Drape-Back Tank, also in coral, as it’s the perfect tank to don under a blazer by day or without it come nightfall to show some unexpected skin in the evening hours. Tan skin recommended.

Below the waist, Bitch in the City Ally is after cheeky, printed pants. She won’t be afraid to get these whimsical palm frond print pants sandy at the beach with its low price-point from Forever21. She also loves a black-and-white geometric pair from Anthropologie.

When it comes to skirts, HBIC Becca is, naturally, channeling the black-and-white geometric trend with a fit-and-flair skirt from Diane von Furstenberg. Meanwhile, Baby Bitch Deidre is opting for an affordable, pleated maxi skirt with a slit to glide through D.C. this spring. Up in the city, Ally will be wearing a watercolor floral printed maxi skirt from Anthropologie.

Accessories

Spring: It’s time for big sunnies, colorful statement necklaces, and a killer pair of sandals to take you from your spring vacation all the way through to summer.

A big fan of Bauble Bar, Deidre loves the online jewelry retailer’s Parakeet Pop necklace to add a pop of tropical green color into her spring. She also suggests a killer rope statement necklace in black and white to add some texture, or this stunning neon coral and blue pair of statement earrings.

A fair-faced gal, Social Bitch Amanda Jean just picked up the Lola Felt Floppy Hat to shield her skin from the sun. A Bohemian floppy hat gives any outfit a stylish, vintage feel and is perfect for sunny days when your outfit needs a little something. By contrast, Cori Sue will be keeping her long hair out of her face with a tropical turban-style headband.

If you’re blind as a bat like Bitch in the City Emily, you’ll love these affordable yet fashionable prescription sunglasses from Warby Parker, which mean your eyes won’t dry out from a day squinting at the sun in contacts. These frames also mean you don’t have to compromise to afford the style you want. With or without prescription frames, the rest of the Bitches love Warby Parker, too.

Emily will slip on the Tory Burch Miller sandals in vintage vachetta as she heads out the door of her New York apartment—and straight to the airport for vacay. She loves these “fancy” flip flops, which dress up any beach outfit for a night out. Thanks to the rich leather, this will last for multiple seasons. Meanwhile, Cori Sue would like a pair of Tory sandals in vachetta with a bit of a heel.

A bit funkier, her co-Bitch Ally has opted for Jonathan Adler for TOMS Women’s Correa sandal or a tribal black-and-white pair from TOMS, which make her long for poolside margaritas and sunny skies. She’s also lovin the C.Wonder gold-and-cork flat sandals.

Beauty

We Bitches are rather impatient, so for us March means spring. We’re reaching for our bronzers, coral lipsticks, and bright, pastel nail polishes regardless of the weather outside.

If you’ve been craving that fresh-from vacation tan, this quick bronzer is the immediate answer without having to reach for your passport. Bitch in the City Emily loves the quick results of Lancome Flash Bronzer and how soft it leaves her skin. Meanwhile, D.C. Baby Bitch Deidre loves to use NARS’ Body Glow in order to give her a healthy sunkissed glow as she waits for winter to end.

Determined to fix her winter-dry tresses, HBIC Becca is soaking her mane in Beauty Protector’s Protect & Oil, available exclusively through Birchbox. The lightweight hair oil protects against spring’s UV rays and heat damage like no other elixir she’s tried.

For those of us actually heading to warmer climates (Bitches), sunscreen is a must. We suggest an innovative, mineral powder sunscreen, applied via brush, with Peter Thomas Roth. There are options for three skin types: normal, oily problem skin, and anti-aging.

A swipe of pink lipstick paired with rosy cheeks is the perfect spring statement. The best part? NARS brand cosmetics is cruelty free! No need to feel guilty while looking flawless. Social Bitch Amanda Jean loves the Mayflower Sheer Lipstick while HBIC Cori Sue loves a coral lip pencil.

Both AJ and CS love Essie’s Bottle Service on their painted paws, as neon pink nails scream spring and neither can resist a pop of pink wherever she goes. If you’re feeling brave, the Bitches would suggest Essie’s Turks & Caicos, a bright, matte mint green that is the definition of spring.

By way of haircare, once Cori Sue sampled Frederick Fekkai’s glossing creme, she went ahead and bought the shampoo and conditioner, too. It’s great for making all hair types smoothly and shiny but not oily.
