Side of Style: Whaley’s Rosé Garden

Is that you, spring? We can think of nothing we’d prefer to do than brunch and drink rosé on a patio this spring. (See our Patio Brunch Guide to find the best!)

Our Basic Bitch hearts are a flutter with the news of a rosé garden opening on the Southeast Waterfront this weekend. The palm trees, the striped umbrellas, and the great lighting will make this destination oh-so-Instagrammable. It’s no surprise it’s brought to us from the gentlemen behind Whaley’s, one of Washington’s most picturesque settings for our favorite meal. (Read our Whaley’s brunch review here.)

As we fervently check the forecast—clear skies ahead—and make plans with our best Bitches, it’s only natural for us to consider the most important question: what to wear?

Obviously, we’ll be wearing lots of blush pink to match what’s in our wine glass, opting for a one-shoulder blouse and a great pair of jeans. Spring is all about one-shoulder pieces and playful straw bags, so we’ll throw in a pink clutch by French brand Serpui for a little something extra.

The rosé garden opens Saturday. We’ll see you there, Bitches.
