Side of Style: Holiday Brunch at Central

The holidays are in full swing! If you can find the time, the best way to catch up with your girlfriends before heading off to holiday travel is over brunch, of course.

We love the upscale, traditional ambiance at Michel Richard’s Central, which is certainly a Washington, D.C. institution. With its formal, clean decor, and traditional French fare, Central is a great spot for a holiday lunch, brunch, or dinner. Thus, we’ve pulled together a festive ensemble you could wear to all three. You can’t go wrong with navy and red—but a white midi skirt adds something a little unexpected in December.

If you’re brunching at Central, don’t miss the steak frites and the Créme brulee French toast. The restaurant offers a $25 prix fixe that includes three courses. Bottomless beverages (mimosas, Bloody Marys, or Bellinis) are an additional $10. Read our review, here.
