One of my least favorite items to shop for are jeans. There are too many things to consider: brand, cut, wash, pocket placement, length, current trends, etc. More often than not, I walk into a dressing room with 20 different pairs of jeans, and hate all of them for one reason or another.

For those of you who are like me when it comes to shopping for denim, I want to introduce you to ZipFit. Co-founders Alex Batdorf and Liz Tilatti initially opened their doors in 2011 as a full service company just for men and their denim fashion needs. After several years of research and crafting algorithms to help men find the perfect pair of jeans, Liz and Alex branched into the world of women’s fashion and have just launched ZipFit services for women.

With brands like Hudson, Paige, 7 For All Mankind, AG, J Brand, Fidelity, and more, ZipFit is bound to have a couple pairs of jeans that are great for everyone. Along with having this assortment of jeans available in their showroom, they also do alterations right on site, to make each pair fit just right.

The Chicago ZipFit office is currently located in West Town, and is up and running for men and women. The ZipFit consultation is done one-on-one to ensure you get the perfect fit.

I just experienced a consultation, and was so impressed with my Fit Expert, Courtney. Her experience and knowledge of trends, fits, and brands that would fit my body type was incredible. After asking a couple of questions and taking a few measurements, Courtney brought me two pairs of jeans, both of which fit me perfectly—the hardest part was picking just one! Stay tuned for upcoming fashion content containing my new ZipFit jeans!
