“I have nothing everything to wear.” That’s how guests are greeted as they walked into the Rent the Runway store in Georgetown last Wednesday night. We hosted a few hundred of D.C.’s stylish ladies for a night of playing dress-up in the Rent the Runway closet. We were celebrating the launch of Unlimited, our newest obsession from RTR.

For a monthly fee, Unlimited lets you rent three pieces from the RTR closet and swap as often as you’d like, so you can update clothes, jewelry and accessories on a whim. For busy Bitches like us, it means we can update our looks on our own terms. No need to worry, all the pieces are insured and shipping is always free. Cori Sue and Steph introduced us to some of their favorite pieces from the collection recently. Needless to say, we were excited to see what else RTR Unlimited has in store.

Social Bitch Annie’s first RTR experience was seamless thanks to the wonderful customer service at the Georgetown store. Her rented romper was too small, so she exchanged it for a Slate & Willow hot pink sheath dress on site.  The Unlimited service allows users to return items directly to the store, saving time on shipping.

Marketing Bitch Shruti ordered a blush imprint dress by Halston Heritage off the website. Rent the Runway provides an option to include a complimentary second size which worked in her favor. The dresses arrived in an easy to return garment back to make our lives simpler.

Co-Bitch in Chief Stephanie ordered a little red dress with long sleeves and cut outs on the elbows and back from one of our favorite brands, Tibi. Meanwhile, HBIC Cori Sue looked lovely in lavender with a little lace number from Karina Grimaldi. Baby Bitch Tess opted for a floral frock from Erin Fetherston.
Guests sipped bubbly and snacked on Olivia Macaron while they browsed the colorful racks of clothes and sparkling jewelry. If you’re stumped on make-up as well, the experts at Birchbox are always on hand in the Georgetown location for a quick makeover and beauty tips and products to complete your look. We’re looking forward to renting more often!
