Lofted above the bustling streets of the Gold Coast lies a restaurant that deserves our attention. For those of you who haven’t had a chance to dine at Jellyfish, I would recommend you take the time to make a reservation this season.
Jellyfish, located on Rush Street, previewed its new fall cocktail menu, and, as a Bitch, I was lucky enough to be invited to a preview this week.
Jellyfish is a pan-Asian restaurant that prides itself on the quality of the food and the strength of the drinks. There were endless platters of sushi and nigiri to snack on and two flowing bars with their six new signature cocktails. Being a gin lover, I went for the Bijou martini. It was a bit strong for my liking, but was it refreshing! The detail and craftsmanship that went into every drink was fascinating to watch—the Bijou came with a slightly burned orange rind. Not sure what it added to the drink but it was fun to watch!
So, if you’re ever wavering on where to go for sushi or even just drinks, be sure to put Jellyfish on your list for places to dine. You will not be disappointed!
