We’re hard-pressed to find a better way to unwind on a Thursday night than with spa treatments accompanied by shopping and wine. Our friends at Caudalie CityCenter helped us host a sip and shop event where guests indulged in complimentary mini-facials, while mingling with friends and sampling wine–sourced from the same grapes that produce the amazing skin care products!
Caudalie is a French based skin care company, founded by Matilde Thomas, who discovered the skin benefits of red wine and polyphenols in Bordeaux at her family vineyard. For thousands of years, French women have turned to the vines and grapes for beauty benefits. She’s shared her secret with us American ladies and we couldn’t be more grateful.
The hero product of the night was the limited edition essence bottle designed by Jason Wu. I carry around the mist in almost every bag I own, whether it’s for a quick post-workout spritz to reduce redness, or a mid-day pick me up at my computer, the grape and herbal scent is the perfect refresh.
Unexpectedly, the CityCenter boutique also has a hidden treatment room for facials. I’ve experienced their services twice now and can honestly say it is one of my favorite hidden gems in the city. You slip back into a serene, fresh smelling room, with a treatment bed that feels like you’re laying on a plush cloud. I inevitably fall asleep for the hour long service and then pop back into the real world feeling refreshed and glowing.
Stay tuned for a Caudalie and Bitches Who Brunch holiday shopping event and in the meantime book your facial today!
