We Bitches love breakfast foods (uhm, hello). You’ve also probably caught on that we enjoy being healthy—we love working out and eating right, except on the weekends, of course.

Cue GrohNola, a local granola company started by a handsome, sporty Washingtonian named Sam Groh (Get it? Groh-Nola. Cute). Sam has worked in the food industry for more than 15 years and started GrohNola as a labor of love after converting to a healthier lifestyle. Basically, he wanted something yummy-yet-healthy to snack on after a run, swim, or hike. Sam, we’re on board!

Made right here in Washington,  GrohNola serves up five different flavors: original, honey ginger, chocolate, blueberry, and sour cherry (my favorite). GrohNola is produced with a minimal amount of sugar, in order to bring out the textures and flavors of the numerous different ingredients. It’s made of more than just oats—sunflower seeds, almonds, flaxseeds, and unsweetened coconut flakes.

  1. I’ll be training for Marathon #6 this summer and eating as many fresh fruits and veggies from the farmers’ markets as possible! That’s how I plan to stay healthy! I liked/followed everyone I needed to follow! Thanks for hosting!

  3. I’m planning to get healthier this summer by eating cleaner and training to run the Double Dumbo Dare in Disneyland Labor Day Weekend. It’s running a 10k on saturday & and half marathon on sunday! Lots of running for me this summer

  4. I liked and followed everyone!

    As for this summer, I’m training for my first marathon with my friend – we go every morning together to gym classes, and we’ve already figured out how we can continue our routine and add in our marathon training. Doing it will together will definitely keep me motivated. I also plan on going to our local Farmers Market at least once a week to make sure we get plenty of fresh fruits and veggies! I’m sure I’ll see GrohNola there and if I win, I’ll already know what my favorite kind is when I go to buy more 🙂 Thanks for the great contest!

  5. My plan for the summer is to get back to going to yoga regularly. I also want to try barre classes, but am a bit intimidated, as I’ve heard how hard they are!

  6. I plan to continue my yoga practice at least three times a week, and I started working with kettlebells to build muscle. Also trying to clean up my diet by focusing on in season fruits and veggies!

  8. I’m starting to switch out 1 of the two eggs I eat every morning for breakfast for organic egg whites instead! Less cholesterol and calories, but I still feel nice and full 🙂

    This summer – with 2 major weddings coming up – I will stick with my 300 calorie lunches and weekly Dance Trance classes to make sure I look…skinny…in the wedding pics!
