The Fashion Menu: December

There’s hardly a better month than December. The holidays make us so giddy we’re like little happy reindeers hopped up on hot cocoa, eskimo kisses, and Santa. (Talk about a strong personal brand. That guy Santa can do no wrong.)

It’s a month of cocktail parties, holiday parties, office parties, dinner parties, birthday parties (they never seem to end). So, you know, parties. We always love sequins, polka dots, gold, red lips, and glittery nails. December is no different–save for our magpie inclinations and glamazon tendencies are perfectly acceptable this time of year. As is the bit of over-indulgence we Bitches have a propensity towards.

This month, our must haves are sparkly, gilded, spirited, and festive. Our pouts will be a festive bright red and our nails glittery gold, to match our heels, of course. We might even go crazy and add some fun, glamorous fake eyelashes.

Bitch in the City Ally can’t live without this black-and-gold polka dot dress from Tracy Reese at Anthropologie. And, for all those big city cocktail parties, she’ll be making an entrance in this mid-calf sequin skirt from Asos.

Meanwhile, Social Bitch Amanda Jean wants these slingback, glittery bow heels from Kate Spade, little does she know HBIC Cori Sue already has them in her closet and is happy to let her take them for a spin on the dance floor.

A high powered marketing Bitch, Miss Becca plans to look classic, chic, and festive at the office holiday party in a red lace sheath dress from her favorite department store, Nordstrom. She can’t decide between this one by Adrianna Papelle and this beauty from Cynthia Steffe.

Cori Sue always opts for fair isle sweaters come winter, and this jeweled, form-fitting black-and-cream sweater from J.Crew is a classy, festive upgrade. In keeping with theĀ  ski chalet theme, she also can’t live without this buffalo check peacoat from J.Crew, andĀ red fair isle socks.

For this season’s cocktail parties, Baby Bitch Deidre chose a chic, blush-toned sequined shift dress from Nordstrom.

And, our BoHo beauty Business Bitch Emily is loving a Free People sequined shawl sweater and sequined leggings. But not at the same time, of course. Because that’s even too much for a party Bitch.
