D.C. Veterans’ Day Brunch Guide

The heroic men and women of the military deserve the thanks of everyone in this country. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by raising a glass in salute over brunch this Veterans’ Day.

Whether you have the day off or just want to sneak out of the office for an early lunch, these local restaurants are opening their doors for brunch in honor of our troops. Those looking to continue the celebration can head downtown for the star-studded Concert for Valor, happening on the Mall.

B Too

For those with the day off, 14th Street’s B Too is serving breakfast all day. The Belgian restaurant specializes in waffles stuffed with decadent fillings such as lobster and pulled pork. Read our review here.

The hot new restaurant located in the W Hotel is offering a menu of All-American fare tomorrow on the patio and in the downstairs bar. They will be showing the Concert for Valor on their TVs for guests who don’t want to battle the crowds.

This Columbia Heights neighborhood gem would make for the perfect lazy brunch for tomorrow’s holiday. The menu has several standouts but our favorites would have to be the French toast sticks and fried deviled eggs. Read our review here.
